Liberty has been coaching for the Amarillo Rush since 2018 as both a head coach and an assistant coach.

Liberty spent his college days playing for Hardin-Simmons University. In his 4 years there, they won the American Southwest Conference in 2 successive years along with two trips to the NCAA tournament.

Liberty says the player's willingness to work and learn makes his job as coach easy and rewarding.
